Welcome to the Big Fish Audio Blog

It’s 2010! Not just a new year, but a new decade. And such a great number too…it’s one of those years that was always “in the future”. “By the year 2010, mankind will travel using jetpacks, machines will do all the work, and we’ll eat all our meals from a plastic tube!” I feel like I even have to say “2010” in a robot voice, it’s that cool.

Speaking of cool, we here at Big Fish Audio have started this cool blog. One of our New Year’s Resolutions, I guess you could say. We also want our bodies thinner, our beats phatter and our customers even happier. And so with your happiness in mind, I introduce you to (drum roll please)…the Big Fish Audio Blog. Welcome!

Since this is a company blog, you’ll hear from a variety of voices. You’ll hear from our production department, our marketing department, the crazy guy who mutters to himself (that’s me) and even from our president from time to time. But I’ll let everyone introduce themselves as they jump onboard the blog.

So what are we going to talk about, and what’s in it for you? Well a few topic areas are for sure: tips and tricks for creating music, working with samples and wrangling different pieces of software and hardware. We’ll discuss trends and news in the music and sample/audio world. We have some really talented people in house, with professional experience as film score composers, producers, engineers…a real powerhouse of talent here, and not just when it comes to making loops and virtual instruments.

We will also have interviews with some of our producers that create our products, so you can learn what went into making it. And we’ll also announce and discuss new products here, as well as sales and special events. That’s right, our blog goals include making you smarter and saving you money. Seems a worthy endeavor, doesn’t it?

And of course you’ll be able to comment on our posts, give us feedback, tell us when we’re hitting the mark and when we’re not. Let’s get the party and the conversation started! So stick us in your newsfeed, and recommend our blog to your friends. Second post coming soon…
