The Top 10 Loops and Instruments to start off 2011 picks up were 2010 left off with some familiar titles and a few newcomers. The Crate: Ultimate Urban Samples moved up to take the number one spot. Modern Country, Modern Rock Guitar and Bass Loops and Ambient Skyline hung close, and newcomers, So Shady and Hook City: Urban Pop Edition, broke into the top ten.
There wasn’t a lot of change on the Instruments side with Q still on top with Electri6ity, Cinesample’s Cineorch and Voxos: Epic Virtual Choir following. A new product in the Instruments top ten was Sonokinetic’s Voices of Isreal. Performed by one of the greatest contemporary classical Jewish singers of our time, Hadass Pal Yarden, this virtual instrument brings you chants, improvisations, poems and songs from an ancient country.

As 2010 was winding down, a few recent releases were moving up the charts. Pop n’ Soul Guitars moved up one spot top take the top position and The Crate: Ultimate Urban Samples gained serious ground to be the #2 selling loop product in December. Recently released Soul Jazz made its debut in the top ten while tried and true Ambient Skyline, Epic Drums and Detroit Soul resurfaced to the top ten.
Vir2’s blockbuster Q maintained its dominance for a second straight month in December’s top instruments. Cinesample’s Voxos climbed back up to the #2 spot while their latest release CineOrch cracked the top five after only being out for a couple of weeks. This hot seller is an orchestral mockup enhancer for the professional composer. We’ll be back in a few weeks to spotlight the hottest sellers to start off 2011!
